As our current strategic plan concludes at the end of this school year, Gurnee District 56 is actively defining our next chapter. Part of this process includes gathering your input to ensure our new Strategic Plan is directly grounded in what matters most to our families, staff, and students, giving our Strategic Design Team the insight needed to set priorities and align our resources for student success.
To make this collaboration easy, transparent, and engaging, we are using a platform called ThoughtExchange. Unlike a traditional survey, ThoughtExchange lets you share your ideas, see what others are saying, and discover which perspectives rise to the top across our community.
The entire process is completely anonymous, and no one will see who submitted which thoughts or ratings, so everyone can share openly and comfortably.
How It Works (3 Simple Steps)

Star: Review ideas shared by other stakeholders and rate the ideas you like best (1 to 5 stars).
Discover: See what priorities and themes emerge as most important to our community as a whole.
Tips for Participating
Keep thoughts concise: Share as many thoughts as you like, but try to keep each thought to one or two sentences so they are quick and easy for others to read and rate.
Return often: New ideas are added continuously as more people participate. We encourage you to check back throughout the exchange to view and rate new perspectives.
