Mark your calendars for the District 56 Black History Month Celebration - A Journey Through Time, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Spaulding School.

This special event is dedicated to honoring and elevating the heritage of our students, staff, and families by engaging the community in an evening that both educates and celebrates the rich history, culture, and contributions of Black and African American people. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Black and African American culture through arts and crafts, music, food, student projects, stories, and dance highlighting the vibrancy and diversity that enrich our schools and community.
