Congratulations to River Trail 8th grader, Servan W, who was selected to participate in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) District 7 Jazz Band. To earn this honor, Servan auditioned against the best middle school percussionists in Lake, McHenry, and Northern Cook Counties (74 total schools). He had the honor of performing with the other selected student musicians at the ILMEA Jazz Festival on Nov. 15.
