I am a local and have lived in Grayslake with my family since I was in 3rd grade. I went to Grayslake North and was the first graduating class in 2008. I went to SIU for my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Go Salukis! Since then I have earned an endorsement in English as a Second Language, an Early Childhood Special Education approval, and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.
I have worked at Spaulding Elementary School since 2014. I'm so excited to be teaching pre-k again as I love the little ones so much. The early years are critical in building skills and I love to see them grow and progress with their academic skills as well as their problem solving, independence, and social skills.
When I am not at school I love going to sporting events, especially Brewer's games and University of Wisconsin football games. I also love going to concerts, exploring new places, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
