Hello! My name is Mrs. Jill Oakley. I began my teaching career in 2011 and have been a kindergarten teacher at Spaulding School since 2015.

I am a graduate of Northern Illinois University and have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies. I also hold an English as a Second Language endorsement.

I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades - but kindergarten is my favorite! Not only do we learn how to read, write, add, and subtract, but we also discover so many things together. Every year is a new, fun adventure. I'm so lucky to be able to watch my students grow so quickly in such a short amount of time. It's the most rewarding job in the world!

I live in McHenry with my husband, Ken, and our two children - George (5) and Anna (1). I love to knit and spend time with my family cheering on the Cubs, boating, hiking, and kayaking!
