Nathaniel McIntyre

Hi, my name is Nathaniel McIntyre. I am thrilled to be teaching at Spaulding School. I am one of our interventionists here at Spaulding. This is my second year teaching at Spaulding Elementary. I graduated from Libertyville High School and then attended Northeastern Illinois University where I studied Physical Education. I obtained both my teaching certificate and degree from Northeastern Illinois University.

I work as a part of the Gurnee District, 56 Response to Intervention (RTI). Academic Interventionists work with teachers and other faculty members to identify children who may be at risk of falling behind in their academic studies. This may involve monitoring students' performance in the classroom, reviewing their homework assignments, or assessing their average test scores.

If you have any questions about your child's intervention please contact your child’s classroom teacher at (847) 662-3701. If you would like more information about the RTI process at Spaulding School, you may contact: Alicia Johnston, Assistant Principal, or Zachary Yehling, School Psychologist at (847) 662-3701.
