Ms. Smith

Smith, Deborah - Speech Pathologist

I am a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology from Elmhurst College and a Master of Science Degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  I began working at Spaulding School in 1989.  I enjoy teaching and working with preschool through fifth grade students and their families at Spaulding and Prairie Trail Schools.

I have two children. My son, Zachary, is an Administrative Services Director for a local village.  My daughter, Corryn, works in the health and wellness industry for a nutrition company.

When I am not at school, I love to spend time with family and friends, travel and walk in the local forest preserves.

I love the students in District 56 and cannot think of a better place to work!
