As you can see by now, the new email system has been converted over to Google email. Your user name is your first initial and your last name, for example:
John Doe would be jdoe.
You do not need to add the @d56.org portion to your user name when you access your email via the Staff Email link.
We have done our best to reuse your old email passwords, but Google has new requirements for what they consider to be Strong passwords. So if you try what you think should be your password and it doesn't work, please submit a request to the help desk what you want to be your new password according to these 4 necessary rules:
Your new password needs to contain:
1.) at least 8 characters
2.) at least one Capital letter
3.) at least one number
4.) at least one symbol (like % or $)
Please submit your new password request to our help desk:
D56 Help Desk (Remember that the submital password is tech)
Since you can't get into your email, we will be unable to send you an email to let you know when your new password is in effect. So once you submit your request for a new password, it will be in effect within 24-48 hours after you request it. In many cases it will be really soon after you request it, but you can be sure that in 24 to 48 hours it will be active.
